✞Death Of Woman Called Suicide - Leaving behind a note revealing despondency over poor health, Miss Josephine Tocco, 28, of 409 Ohio St., Monday afternoon was found dead in a shed at the rear of her home. Officials said she died of a shotgun wound through the heart. A sawed-off shotgun lay beside her. Dr. Lemuel R. Hurlbut, coroner, who issued a certificate of death by suicide, said the woman's note contained the message that she was sorry to cause so much trouble but she couldn't stand ill health any longer. Miss Tocco, who recently returned from a four-month trip to Italy, suffered from asthma, the coroner was told. Dr. Hurlbut added that the shotgun was owned by the woman's father, Fideo [sic] (Fred), who runs a restaurant at that address. Besides her father she leaves a sister, Mrs. Jams [sic] Kleinhans of Lockport. Services will be held Thursday at 8:30 at the Clemens O. Gaul Funeral Home, 263 East Ave. and at 9 o'clock at St. Anthony's Church. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
