We are Roche Toastmasters Clubs

A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere.

First-ever pan-Roche Toastmasters speech contest just concluded successfully! A total of 70 spectators dialed in  the two sessions (Asia/EU regional event and NALA/EU regional event) to listen to fantastic speeches delivered by seven finalists advanced from club-level speech contests around the globe. 

After over 4 months planning and coordination, seven clubs - 2 from Malaysia, 1 from Switzerland, 1 from Canada, and 3 from the US, enthusiastically took part in the world cup. Thanks to the world cup planning committee, volunteers, judges and especially, Contest Chair - Gokul Kalur from Genentech SSF Toastmaster club and Chief Judge - Eric Fingerhut from Roche Basel Toastmaster club's leadership and devotion, the event was a grand success! 

One Roche, One speech world cup. In the year 2020, despite the geographically and temporary distances, we, toastmasters across Roche, are closer more than ever.
