1) Practice you speaking, and presentation skills; nothing will improve your presentation skills more than straight practice!
2) Practice leadership skills, whether your are a manager or an intern you will get plenty of occasions to take leadership roles.
3) Expand your network within Roche Bay Area in a small fun, and engaging environment.
4) Receive feedback on your speech to help you grow and improve.

Taking up a role in the meetings helps improve creativity, active listening, and organizing skills. If you are interested in taking up a role in the upcoming meetings, this script/guidelines have all you need.
A new member typically gives a 4-6 min speech to introduce him/herself to the club. The instructions for this speech are here.
When you join as a formal member of the Toastmasters community, you can follow Toastmasters’ education program, the Pathways, and choose a Path to deliver more speeches or practice listening and feedback-giving.
Ask a club officer to add your info to Toastmasters International. To join Toastmaster International there is an affordable new member fee ($20) and membership fee ($10 per month to the closest end of March or September).
Choose one of Toastmasters Path and Project and start delivering your speeches!
