Flowers help feed bees, so plant a few! Be sure to avoid using harmful pesticides. Click here to find some pollinator-friendly plants. You can also see the bee gardens that I planted on my Bee Gardens page!
Pollinators like bees need a safe place to live and protect their young. Nests can include ground nests, wood tunnel nests, rock piles, and other natural sheltering resources. By either keeping natural nesting spaces safe or creating your own, you can help bees thrive and continue to help the environment.
Visit this page to learn more about nesting habitats. If you're concerned about swarms, read here.
Bees need water too! Take a small, shallow dish and arrange some pebbles and sticks inside. Fill it with water so that the tops of the pebbles and sticks are dry. Now some bees can land on them to take a break!

Go to the local farmers market and buy some honey! Those beekeepers nurture and care for bees to support their populations. Beekeepers often sell honey, beeswax candles, and soaps.

Let others know why bees are so important and what's happening to them! Recognition is the first step to lessening these problems.
