The True North Science Boot Camp (TNSBC) is an annual professional development event for library workers who support teaching and research in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
The theme of TNSBC 2026 is Interdisciplinary Teaching and Research in STEM. TNSBC 2026 will include two days of researcher presentations, talks from library workers, and diverse offerings of local site visits, with the aim of fostering interdisciplinary community building and inspiring new approaches to scientific inquiry. Attendees will have opportunities to learn more about science and the research process, discuss best practices, and share ideas and experiences.
Participants in True North Science Boot Camp 2026 may also be interested in participating in the Teaching & Learning Mini Conference, being hosted Wednesday, June 17, 2026 by McMaster University Libraries. Stay tuned for more information.
Registration opens in March – stay tuned for details!
