It was the in-person meet-up at Breast Cancer Now's London HQ today! What a lovely afternoon. I got to London about 11am and went straight to Whitechapel on The Tube. Once there, I wandered around a bit. At about 12.45, I went into The Whitechapel Building (10 Whitechapel High Street) and was given access to Breast Cancer Now.
I met a number of volunteers and some of the staff. We had a quiz to complete using facts and figures, we had a presentation about research projects, another presentation about the information they share, and the CEO and the chief scientific officer also came in to find us.
I managed to meet the Public Health team - I've met them lots of times online and receive lots of emails but this is the first time in-person. Loved every minute of it - I've blurred out the faces of the other volunteers.

😀I've remembered to log on in the middle of the month but don't have anything of note to share.
It is almost the summer holiday (4 working days left) and I can't wait. Nothing is planned but I think I'll just have a quiet time.

And just like that, it's the end of July. I've given a couple of public health talks this week. They have been great. I've also had to contact Nessy, my CNS, as something has appeared on my mastectomy scar. I don't know what it is - could be a spot, a scratch, a lump, a recurrence - who knows. She has organised an appointment for me for next Wednesday.
