The photo I'm using as the header this month shows my hair growth over a year. The photo on the left was the end of March 2024 and the one on the right is from late March 2025. 😀

I'm a bit late starting my monthly update. The first of the month has come and gone but I did remember to share my reminder reel. I thought I'd give it an Easter theme.
Yesterday, I had my eye operation. That was a bit unpleasant. It was a corneal delamination - basically, the top layer of my cornea was softened using alcohol for 30 seconds, then scraped of with a tiny 'hockey stick'. It wasn't very nice watching this all happen - particularly when the surgeon lifted off my cornea. Anyhow, he put a contact lens bandage over the top (I was hoping very much that I didn't have a reaction to it - I did the last time one was put in). Thankfully, a day later, it is absolutely fine. We now hope that my cornea grows evenly and doesn't give me any grief. We'll see. I'll just keep putting in the drops - usual artificial tears, dexamethasone eye drops and chloramphenicol antibiotic eye drops.
Because of this procedure, I had to miss the sponsored Crocus Walk for Breast Cancer Now - there was absolutely no way I could have done it as my eyes were so light sensitive this morning. It's 4.45pm and they are only just about ok to use my laptop to type this.Â
I have a couple of Cancer Alliance meetings this week - one about the SACT booklet and another to watch the Limbo Land video. It's all very exciting.
