Tyler Sigmon is currently the Director of Marketing and Communications at TechFlow, where he leads comprehensive brand oversight and manages the company's messaging and communications to maintain a strong and consistent public image. His responsibilities at TechFlow include securing media opportunities, providing strategic media counsel to top company leadership, and crafting high-quality content. He has significantly enhanced internal communications by introducing a company newsletter, an internal podcast, and reinstating town halls, with engagement metrics showing notable improvement.
Prior to his role at TechFlow, Sigmon was the Director of Marketing and Communications at BigBear.ai. Upon BigBear.ai's inception, as a result of a merger between PCI Strategic Management and NuWave Solutions, he led the rebranding, integration, and change management efforts for the company. He managed a team of professionals and an annual budget in excess of $1 million, and was responsible for all marketing and communications activities.
Before joining BigBear.ai, Sigmon served as the Marketing and Communications Manager at PCI, where he oversaw significant improvements in social media presence, community relations, and corporate sponsorships. He was also instrumental in internal communications and crisis communications efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, an acquisition by a private equity firm, and the merger with NuWave Solutions.
Previously, Sigmon was a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Strategic Communication at Morgan State University (2018-2019) and held several instructional positions at Towson University, primarily focused on Sport Communication (2010 - 2018).
Mr. Sigmon resides in Lutherville-Timonium, MD with his wife and two sons.
