*Recommended items to bring: medicine for carsickness, antipyretic, ointment for insect bites (Gnat, Gad fly), insect repellent, swimwear, sandals, folding umbrella
*There is a laundromat available in  the hotel. (only accepts 100 yen coins)
*For International student/PD: Please do not forget to bring your residence card!

- Cancel the meeting if you have fever/feel unwell when you leave home.

・愛媛大の学生さんは8/4（日）9:40に総合研究棟I前に集合して、荷物(プロジェクター等)を運んでください。バスのトランクが小さいため、ハードタイプのスーツケースはなるべく使用しないでください。
・バス代・参加費・宿泊費（計31,000円or31,200円）はバス乗車前に白石にお支払いください。各研究室でまとめてお支払いいただけると助かります。
　※領収証は分けてお出しします。
・タオル、歯ブラシ、浴衣等はありませんので、各自準備してください。（館内にwi-fiとコインランドリーはあります）
・酔い止め・虫よけ・かゆみ止め・解熱剤・水着・ビーサン・雨具（雨の予報の場合）を持参することを推奨します。
・体調不良の場合は参加を見合わせてください。その場合は白石（shiraishi.chihiro.wc-at-ehime-u.ac.jp）までお早めにご連絡ください。

＜四国カルストでの巡検について＞

およそ３億年前、赤道付近の海底火山の活動が始まり、その活動の終わった２億５千万年前頃、山頂付近にサンゴ礁などが堆積して出来た石灰岩が、四国カルストで見られます。移動する海洋プレートに運ばれて四国沖の南海トラフで大陸のプレートの下に沈み込んで行くときに削り取られて残った物が約２００万年前四国山地の造山運動で、標高１４００ｍまで押し上げられて出来ました。日本一標高の高いカルスト台地を見学し、カルストテラス内資料館にて、西日本の形成過程や現在の四国の地質について学習します。
