Whatever happened on the LGSRC will never be fully understood. However, since AuraDora has ties with it and since AuraDora is a domino piece too big to fall for PanO's economy, we must ensure the final understanding of this matter coincides with ours.
It would be truly surprising and terrible if anyone in the Human Sphere had built a secret spaceyard for Minotaur-class corvettes in the same quadrant of the LGSRC. Especially based on the agreements of reduced military production we have with the CA. This puzzle must be solved fast and clean, whatever the outcome.
Amin Monte-Sori lays dead in the cryocell of Nox-5 Autonomous Orbital Redoubt, somewhere in the Human Edge. No cube, no "sorry we killed you", no negotiable solutions on the horizon. Now, this sad accident, a by-product of Operation Soap Mountain, has become a problem larger than the Sphere. We must come out clean, without upsetting our Haqq allies.
There has never been an Amin Monte-Sori. The name itself is an inside joke, an old callsign used by Ayyars to indicate holoechos during training. We fear we may be dealing with a rogue assassin, but we will gladly play the role of the offended party for the time being.
First they ostracize you, then they come and take the paradise you've created for themselves. All this agitation in the Human Edge is not good, but it'll be a great lesson for future and more relevant experiences on the other side of the Ricochet gate...
Allowing Exrah into the system proved to be a perfect move: not only they are actively supporting our agenda, but they also early spotted that asteroid as one of the best candidate locations for the Mussanin'te, a Voodootech vault of extreme importance in the Exrah mythology. This helped us setting up one or two insiders on the station: now we only need to make contact and understand whatever happened to that piece of lost tech.
We knew Location #14 was a good candidate as a Voodootech site. Fearing both our enemies and our allies, we decided to withhold this information. It was clearly a mistake that we must now fix, and fast.
Profit! That's the only universal language of the universe. Big or small, formal or pretestous, backed by malicious AI or dangerous Voodootech: no crisis is different from another one. This time, like every other time, we'll work for the best offerent.
After setting up the Torchlight Brigade, we are now facing the drawbacks of expansion. Overstretching has become an apparent issue for internals and now we can't divert resources to the Mothball incident without loosing ground elsewhere. We'll send one of our almost best agents, Alex "Ram" Tombstone, giving him special authority. He may be a hothead, but we trust the rest of the Human Sphere will collaborate for the best shared outcome.
We know what happened on the LGSRC. We know because we had already found a Mothball on Shinju. Heck, we are those who actually named it "Mothball". Our competitor's intelligence was good enough to catch our callsign but not to understand what that was. This Mothball must be ours, too bad we're not even in the quadrant.
Amin Monte-Sori is one of our assets. We are in the third and last stage of an intel operation that we started since we entered the Human Sphere. Mothballs are rare, powerful and dangerous. We want them mainly to avoid our enemies secure them.
