I would recommend investment in this venture. With the growth in the use of online learning tools, as more educational resources become digital and accessible online, now is the time for Desmos to advance their place in this market. Handheld graphing calculators are becoming more expensive and less versatile (for example, it is difficult to create a graph on a calculator and insert it into a document). Educators, students, and parents are looking for more affordable and accessible options and Desmos is an excellent one.

As well, Desmos has an educationally valuable tool for math learning, along with a variety of supports for users. Their mission is to ensure that every student learns math and loves learning math, which is not an easy feat. As a math teacher, I have been working towards this goal for many years. I also appreciate the fact that they are striving for equity in all they do.
