Desmos is an online set of Math tools including graphing calculator, scientific calculator, four function calculator, matrix calculator, and geometry tool. Desmos is most widely known for its online graphing calculator tool. It is a browser-based, html5 technology which works on computers and tablets without download. Also available is the graphing calculator app for Android and iOS. Desmos is used by over 40 million teachers and students in 30 languages annually.

Desmos Inc.

Desmos Inc., based in San Francisco, CA, was launched in 2011 by founder Eli Luberoff, a math and physics major from Yale. It was presented as a startup at TechCrunch’s Disrupt New York conference.

By September of 2012, Desmos Inc. had received approximately $1 million in funding from:
