Welcome to eBrew!  If this is your first time having a child participate in our eBrew program, we are so excited to start them on their Hebrew journey!  

All students enrolled in our 4th-6th grade Religious School are automatically enrolled in eBrew.  If your child will be in our 4th-6th grade Religious School, there is nothing you need to do for eBrew until October.   (To register your child for religious school, please complete the health form, which will be open in July.)

Your child will have 18, thirty minute tutoring sessions included in their religious school tuition (meaning there is no additional cost to your child participating in eBrew if they are enrolled in religious school.)

We offer an orientation for new students/parents on Thursday, October 16th at 6pm via zoom.  There will be an email that will go out to eBrew families in October that will include the zoom link.   (If you cannot attend the orientation, you can view the video here on this webpage on October 17th)

Registration will take place from October 16th (opening after the orientation) through October 24th.  During this time, you will complete a form with your child's availability and tutoring requests.  We ask that you carve out 30-minutes a week that work on a consistent basis from November-April.   Tutoring will take place at the same day/time each week.  (See below for eBrew dates and policies).

eBrew tutoring sessions will begin in November.

We encourage you to browse this webpage to become familiar with eBrew.   If you have additional questions about eBrew, please contact carly@templekolami.org. 

Sessions are 30 minutes long and will occur on the same day/time each week.  Select a day/time that works best for your child on a weekly basis.   (Remember, this must be a day/time where your child will have access to a computer with a camera, microphone, speakers and internet)

You will receive a confirmation email from learnspeed with a link to your individual calendar the last week of October.   Please bookmark that calendar link.  You'll use that to login to your sessions.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an individual lesson, you MUST contact your tutor at least 24 hours PRIOR to the lesson. No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of the lesson will not be rescheduled and you will forfeit the session.

If a tutor cancels a session, the lesson will be rescheduled for a later date.

If a session time no longer works for you on a weekly basis, you can try to create a new session time with your current tutor.  If your tutor is not able to accommodate your new availability, please contact our eBrew coordinator Marissa Malett at marissam@onlinejewishlearning.com as soon as possible to get set up with a new lesson day/time/tutor.

eBrew sessions begin the week of November 2, 2025.  We ask that you are online ready for your lesson at least 5 minutes prior to your start time to make sure that your computer is up and running properly.  Our tutors often have back-to-back lessons scheduled so please be prompt to your lesson.

Mark your calendars as soon as possible with ALL of your eBrew sessions (Take note of weeks where there is no eBrew - eBrew calendar may not coincide with Sunday School dates.)  You may coordinate with your tutor to schedule make-up sessions on any week where there is no regular ebrew.
