The Turkish Journal of Statistics and Data Science (TJSDS) is a double-blind peer-reviewed open-access journal published twice a year. TJSDS accepts original research and review articles written in Turkish or English in the fields of Statistics and Data Science. There is no page limit for manuscripts, and there are no charges for authors or institutions.
All submissions must be made through the TJSDS interface.
It is not required to use the format of the journal at the initial submission stage of the manuscript to the journal. Format-free PDF (.pdf) or Word (.doc, .docx) files are accepted.
1. Full-text file without author, institution, or e-mail information, according to the publication template (for blind review).
2. Title page with author, institution, address, and e-mail information.
3. Cover letter.
1. The accepted paper prepared in the TJSDS template, including the personal information of each author (full name, e-mail, and institutional information).
2. A copyright transfer form signed by all authors.
Then, the articles will be queued for publication and assigned a DOI and page numbers. They should be prepared using the TJSDS template.
The title page should include the title of the article, the full names of the authors, their affiliations, and e-mail addresses.
The novelty and main findings of the work should be written in this section. The abstract should include approximately 100-250 words. The number of keywords should be between 3 and 6.
If equations are included in the text of the study, they should be presented within a single-cell table with hidden borders, consisting of two cells. Equations should be prepared using an equation editor. The equation should be placed in the left cell, which should be centred. The equation number, given in parentheses, should be placed in the right cell, which should be right-aligned and only as large as the equation number.
All tables should be numbered (e.g., Table 1). The table numbering and description should be placed above the table. Within the text, tables should be referred as ‘Table 1’.
All figures should be numbered (e.g., Figure 1). The figure numbering and description should be placed below the table. Within the text, figures should be referred as ‘Figure 1’.
Each author's contribution to the work must be clearly stated in this section.
If the data used in the conducted study require an ethics committee approval certificate, it should be explained in this section, and the ethics committee approval certificate should be submitted with the article.
If there is no need for ethics committee approval for the publication of the study, the following information note should be included:
"This article does not require ethics committee approval."
If there is a conflict of interest, information should be provided about the individual/institution with whom the conflict of interest exists and the rationale behind it. If there is no conflict of interest, the following information note should be included:
"This article has no conflicts of interest with any individual or institution."
The acknowledgment section should be placed at the end of the article, just before the references section.
For in-text citations and referencing, the 6th edition of the APA (American Psychological Association) style should be used. The references to be included in the references section should be added in alphabetical order. Reference numbers should be added with automatic numbering. How to cite different styles of sources in APA style can be checked from here.
