Recent Updates

We've made a lot of progress in IDIM recently! Here's a list:

February Update:

• Starting to laser cut and assemble the final product.
• Sending array values from Processing to Arduino as one String rather than three separate Strings.
• Added a capacitor to our LED string, which will prevent any voltage drops from the power supply.
• Ordering metal railings to act as our LED display frame and acrylic lighting panels.

January Update:

• Switching from ATmega to Aruino Uno for its Serial communication abilities.
• Sending array values from Processing to Arduino as three separate Strings (one of R values, one of G values, one of B values).
• Trying FastLED library instead of Neopixel library in Arduino.
• Ordering parts for the final product.
