Fire glowing like amber,
Blazing deep within her eyes.
Still dancing with the demons,
Though angels console her when she cries.
Deeply numbed by past strings and loveless growing pains,
Her bright light they sucked as her energy continued to drain.
The only comfort was the dark abyss,
No longer seeking what’s left to gain.
Abused by words.
Beaten by fear.
Blood covers her melanin skin in crimson stains.
She looks up from the darkness toward the heavenly realms,
Cool drops of purity seeping within her bloody stains,
Standing arms wide, she receives cleansing from the rain.
The holy angels carry her past the stars where her mission is to be proclaimed.
It is here that she gazes at all she could ever seek,
In the midst of beautiful glory, she behaves uncontrollably but meek.
The Almighty voice speaks so tender yet so profound:
You’re the Flower of the Universe. You have no privilege to keep your frown.
I summon you back to Earth fueled with fire to reclaim your Crown.
