On a beautiful day in late August, at my request, Rob Collins took my husband and me on a tour of our own neighbourhood -- from the door of our house in the Golden Triangle to a view of St. Brigid's Cathedral, where we married (sixteen years ago).

Rob unrolled a fascinating story of how our house, and our town came to be.  He unveiled who lived in our home, who built our town, and how Ottawa came to play a central role in the making of Canada.

Rob's professionalism comes across through thorough research, juxtaposed with a companionable style.  His generosity of time, and willingness to customize the tour for us, led to a highly enjoyable afternoon.  I cannot recommend him enough.
