Is the Founder and Programming Artistic Director of Time to Shine Performing Arts. She attended New York University TISCH school of the Arts where she majored in theatre and also studied abroad in London at Trinity College of Music where she studied musical theatre. After graduating with honors from NYU, she toured nationally with Sesame Street Live as Jenny the music teacher and Rosita, the bilingual fruit bat. After tour, Mrs. Baughman found her true calling, teaching. In Austin, she ran the theatre and dance schools at the Jewish Community Center growing a program of 40 students to 250 in two years. She also taught dance, theatre and voice lessons at Metropolitan Fine Arts Center in the Washington DC area. In 2013, Mrs. Baughman became one of six theatre teachers who founded elementary theatre in the district for Keller schools. She received the Lisa Veitenheimer award for first year teacher of the year. For the past five years, Mrs. Baughman has been the lead theatre director and fine arts department chair at Fossil Ridge High School and is currently a Traveling & Remote PreK Music & Theatre Teacher. Since becoming a teacher for Keller ISD, Mrs. Baughman has directed 8 musicals, 3 holiday shows and 3 one act plays. In the summer of 2014, she founded Time to Shine Performing Arts and created a two week summer camp called Camp Shine where she has directed 6 musicals with Kinder-6th graders and has taught over 250 students. Mrs. Baughman’s goal is to make sure that every student who walks through her doors feels seen, loved, and knows that they will have their moment to shine.
Is the Co-founder and Director of Operation for Time to Shine Performing Arts. He attended Indiana University South Bend where he received at Bachelor of Science in criminal justice. He has spent the past 15 years in the supply chain and logistics industry managing numerous operations and leading all to financial success.
The Baughman family brings their passion, talent and determination to make Time to Shine a leading performing arts company. This company is a life-long dream of Trisha’s and every experience she has encountered over the last 16 years in education has empowered her to make this dream a reality. It is her sincere belief that Time to Shine will provide opportunities for students from all races, gender and ethnicity to become stars. Together, Trisha and Nate, will continue to build a company that will withstand the test of time and allow their children Peyton and Jackson to one day take over and continue the level of excellence for future generations.
