Every orchestra student must acquire all of the supplies for their instrument listed below in addition to renting their instrument. It is best to purchase these items well in advance so there is no delay in getting started on Day 1 of school!
There are many vendors, brands, and models for each of these items. You have choices. Most are available at the music shop where you rent your instrument or online. The following items linked below are recommended for their quality as well as for the best value.

Prices vary significantly on these items. The most cost-effective option I have found is a shop stool (i.e. Home Depot, Lowes, etc.). The stool needs to have these features:
Adjustable height (minimum: 28”)
Foot rest
No rolling castors
