David Schubert, MMusEd
Director of Orchestras
David Schubert is an accomplished music educator, arranger, orchestrator, and performer whose career spans years of international touring with vocal and instrumental ensembles and extensive experience in church music.
An alumnus of Liberty University with a master’s degree in Music Education, he also studied the cello at Southern Illinois University and Missouri Southern State University under the mentorship of Dr. Joseph Pival and Dr. David Chinburg.
Mr. Schubert began teaching in Keller ISD as an instructor for KISD String Academy and as a private lesson cello/bass specialist in 2017. In 2020 he was selected to launch the orchestra program for the Falcon Feeder Pattern.
Mr. Schubert is also a published arranger and orchestrator whose work has been featured in Keller ISD Orchestra concerts, as well as live stage productions and televised special events.
Mr. Schubert resides in Keller with his wife, Helena. They have two young-adult daughters, Lauren and Jaimie.
