We require proof of vaccination status prior to their stay.
We require three vaccines: Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella.
Cats must be negative for feline leukemia.
We require three vaccines:
Rabies, FVRCP, and FeLV.
Rabies is required by law in Georgia where we are located.
The DHPP is a combination vaccine that protects your dog against distemper, parvovirus, hepatitis, and parainfluenza, Sometimes this vaccine also include protection against Leptospirosis (DHLPP).
This is considered a core vaccine by veterinarians and is usually given as part of your dog's yearly vaccines.
The FVRCP vaccine is a combination vaccine that protects your cat against feline distemper (panleukopenia), calicivirus, and rhinotracheitis.
This is considered a core vaccine by veterinarians and is usually given as part of your cat's yearly vaccines.
The Bordetella vaccine is not a core vaccine but a lifestyle one. This means that if you dog frequents places with many other dogs, such as a groomer, dog park, or boarding facility, it is wise to protect your dog from the bacteria that the DHPP doesn't cover. Most groomers and boarding facilities (such as ours) require this vaccine.
The FeLV is the feline leukemia vaccine. Feline leukemia is a retrovirus and can be transmitted to cats in close quarters.
This is considered a core vaccine by veterinarians and is usually given as part of your cat's yearly vaccines.
