<-- Let Miss Sophie answer some frequently asked questions!
Do I need to bring food?
YES!
We can't offer every brand, but we can store them all.
We store dry food in a sealed container labeled with name, kennel, and instructions. We can also store refrigerated and frozen food as needed--so fresh or homemade meals are no problem.
We kindly request that you measure out the amount needed for your pet's stay plus one day, as our capacity for storing 40lb bags is limited during the busy season.
What about their bowls?
NO!
We have plenty of food and water bowls and many of your bowls look like ours which can make it hard to keep them separate.
HOWEVER
If your dog uses special feeders such as raised bowls, slow feeders, or gravity feeders, feel free to bring what they need to feel comfortable.
If it's just a run-of-the-mill bowl, leave that to us!
Can I bring their bedroom?
YES AND NO!
You dog would love to have their bed, a blanket, or something from home with your scent; however, there is only so much room in the kennel.
We allow one bed, blanket or towel, and a stuffie or chew toy (whichever they like the most). We do have raised beds available for comfort as needed.
If you have large dogs staying together, more than one bed will probably not be possible with the space, and most of them end up sharing a bed during their time here.
What about medicine?
YES!
Administering medicine is not a problem for our staff. We can give tablets, drops, liquid, and shots as needed.
If you pet requires this, please bring the labeled medicine with specific written instructions. Medicine will be stored as directed - sealed in dry storage or in refrigerated storage.
Please note that we are not on the premises overnight, so if your pet needs medicine administered in off hours, please clear that with us when making a reservation.
