Derek and Sarah Tiller
Derek Tiller’s connection with the Wofford Terriers began in 2003 when he signed a letter of intent to play under Coach Mike Ayers. During his time at Wofford, he emerged as a three-year starter on the offensive line and contributed significantly as a member of the team that won its first two Southern Conference Championships.
Today, both Derek and Sarah work in education and call Flowery Branch, GA—just north of Atlanta—their home, where they live with their two daughters, Madison and Reagan. When not busy shaping young minds, the Tillers relish quality time together, traveling, and of course, supporting the Terriers.
In establishing this scholarship fund, the Tillers hope to open doors to the same incredible opportunities that Wofford provided Derek, inspiring and empowering the next generation of student-athletes to achieve excellence on and off the field.
The Tiller family is dedicated to preserving the enduring legacy of ‘Coach A’ through this scholarship fund, ensuring that his remarkable contributions are forever remembered.
