Snails and potions
Snails and Potions is a game where you play as a witch that has to fight for ingredients to make potions to help your snail or sabotage the other one, the snail that reach the finish first wins.
I worked mostly on basic setup like gameModes/ scenemanagment/ character movement and in game interactions, working with the physics from unreal was especially challenging but worth it.

Pokemon Remake
In our first semester, we got the assignment to pair up and create a game. So me and Artuur Demeyer paired up and in 2 weeks, we created a short remake off the famous pokemon gameboy game.
This was using c++ in visual studio with the first semester framework.
The enemy attack was then selected by random number every turn.
In my second year as research project, I decided to make the enemies smarter.
I focussed on Utility AI and created my version to make the enemy pokemon make a score off each attack they have (depending on hp, enemy hp, pokemon type) and use the best scoring attack then.
Speed For Need
As my first game jam, we got the theme : Keep it going.
I teamed up with some classmates and for 3 days straight we worked on this game.
In this project I mostly worked on the item spawning system, where i dropped placements actors in world and let a component in the gamemode control when and what the spawn on these places.
It was my first project as a team so it was challenging at first but really fun experience.

Exploding fists
This is my first unreal engine game with c++ (mostly still blueprints)
This was the assignment off game mechanics in the 3th semester, we had to create a game following 2 keywords (action and skill).
Since I enjoy the muay tai trainings, i decided to make a game based on it. You can only dodge to side or below, but this will cost stamina which you need to punch back.
I tried making this as realistic as possible, dodge with your mouse movement and punch back with clicking RMB or LMB.
I made a simple AI as enemy which will fight back harder every round. max skill as champion. I did this by making the enemy fight back faster and have smaller idle(vulnerable) time after his hits.
Golden Axe 3 Remake
This my end off the first year programming assignment.
In the second semester we gained a different framework (which was less focussed on global variables compared to the first).
I mostly enjoyed the creating an AI system for all the npc in this game, further utilising the state machine I tried from previous project.
Giving the enemies more ways to attack you like, fast attack, stronger attack and even a running dash attack. And idle when out off range.
This is a multiplayer game where at the start you can chose to play alone or coop with a friend. The controls are on the same keyboard for player 1 and 2.
I am using c++ in visual studio, using the second semester framework from school.
