I am doing my thesis under the supervision of John Antonakis. My work is at the intersection of Management and Economics. I am fascinated by charismatic leadership and aim to contribute to unraveling this fuzzy concept and its effects using rigorous methods. I enjoy particularly experiments and quasi-experimental designs.

During my six-month research visit at Columbia Business School (NYC), I will investigate whether charisma can be used as a complement or substitute for financial incentives when those backfire.
