Tidewater Turners is a non-profit Woodturning Club that meets in the Norfolk/Virginia Woodcraft Store. We promote the advancement of woodturning skills for our members through an open exchange of knowledge, ideas and information and strive to increase public awareness of woodturning as a popular craft and as an art form. We are a local chapter of the16K plus member American Association of Woodturners (AAW) (www.woodturner.org).

Meetings include a live woodturning demonstration by club members or nationally known woodturners from around the country. December is our members’ Christmas Party.
Turners’ Talk: 2nd Thurs. of the month / 6:30PM Woodcraft Norfolk, VA 23502
These sessions are informal discussions with a topic, tool discussion, project help and general information sharing. Hosted by a club member, questions are answered, and woodturning techniques are shared. We also hang out and chat.
Board Meeting: 1st Thurs. of the month / 6:30PM
Meetings are open to all club members. Club business is discussed, and plans are developed.
Public Demonstrations, workshops, shows and woodturning gatherings occur several times a year in addition to our monthly meetings. More information can be found in the GALLERY section on our web site.
