Tidewater Turners public demonstrations are opportunities where our turners show the public the fun of woodturning. Demonstrations are an informal and friendly way meet people it gives members the opportunity to show off their work.
Our public demonstrations are an excellent opportunity for both experienced and novice turners. Turners find it rewarding and fun to work with a group of enthusiastic turners in an informal setting where new turners can learn from more experienced turners. It costs individual turners nothing to display and sell pieces.
Tidewater Turners normally participate in 6 to 8 demonstrations each year. Each runs one or two days and are usually a part of a bigger festival.
To join a demo or if you have questions, contact any of the officers or board members and we’ll provide additional details.
We announce each demonstrations by email about 2 weeks before the start date and ask for volunteers.
