Ticket Buddy collects only the minimum amount of data required to provide ticket management services. This includes:

• Discord Identifiers: We store User IDs, Server (Guild) IDs, and Channel IDs to manage permissions and ticket routing.

• Message Content & Transcripts: To provide ticket logs, the bot may process and store message content sent within designated ticket channels.

• Command Usage: We log command interactions to improve performance and troubleshoot technical issues.

2. STORAGE AND SECURITY ("USER'S RISK")

We aim to protect your data, but we maintain full transparency regarding our security infrastructure:

• Encryption Disclaimer: Data stored by Ticket Buddy may or may not be encrypted. We do not guarantee that all data at rest or in transit is encrypted using advanced cryptographic standards.

• Assumption of Risk: The internet is not a 100% secure environment. The use of Ticket Buddy is at the User’s own risk. We are not responsible for unauthorized access, hardware/software failure, or data breaches.

• Sensitive Information: Users are strictly advised not to share sensitive personal information (passwords, financial details, or private identification) through the Bot.

3. SERVICE AVAILABILITY & MAINTENANCE

• 99% Uptime Goal: We strive for an uptime of 99%; however, this is not a legal guarantee.

• Maintenance Checks: Ticket Buddy undergoes regular maintenance and security audits. During these checks, the bot may go offline. We are not liable for any data loss or inconvenience caused by these scheduled or unscheduled downtimes.

4. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

• Manual Deletion: Server administrators can request data deletion by contacting our Support Server.

• Automated Deletion: When Ticket Buddy is removed from a server, associated configuration data may be retained in our backups for a period of up to [24] hours before permanent purging.

5. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS (INDIA, ASIA)

Ticket Buddy is developed, hosted, and operated from India, Asia. By using the Bot, you acknowledge and consent that your information may be transferred to, and processed in, India. Please be aware that Indian data protection laws may differ from those in your home jurisdiction (such as GDPR in Europe or CCPA in the USA).

6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Ticket Buddy operates on the Discord platform. Therefore, your data is also subject to Discord’s Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third-party advertisers.

We reserve the right to disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency) within the jurisdiction of India.
