Level Design


The goal of this project is to emulate a professional level design test. Police HQ is inspired by High Overseer Campbell from Dishonored 1. Similar to Dishonored 1, players have multiple ways to complete their assassination lethally or non-lethally. As a part of the project requirements, I designed an original ability that would fit in the Dishonored universe.

Game Engine: Unreal Engine 4.

Project duration: 1 - 2 weeks.

Space Station is a multiplayer map for Unreal Tournament. The map was made in Unreal Editor. Space Station takes advantage of the UT's movement system, giving players multiple ways to traverse and approach each gunfight.

Outcasts' Hideout is my hub level set in a high-fantasy world. I primarily focused on building a large environment that emphasized exploration. There are multiple races co-existing in this fantasy world. Each race emphasizes the purity of the bloodline. Multiracial people are always cast away by society, hence the title outcast.

Project duration: 1 month.

Little Nightmare In the Cabin is a single-player stealth level. You play as a child who wakes up and finds herself trapped inside a cabin in the woods. Players need to find a way to escape while avoiding being caught by a mysterious killer.

Project duration: 3 weeks.

Mrs. Adler's day becomes stranger and stranger as the day progresses. Everyone starts to behave weirdly, including her family. What are real? What are hallucinations? She has nothing but a flashlight. She can only trust her own eyes, or can she?

Project duration: 2 weeks.
