07/29/2022 - JMIH Oral Presentation

I presented my urban brown snake study at JMIH 2022 in Spokane, WA!

A) Hypomelanistic unstriped morph Plethodon cinereus described in my natural history note; B) Comparison between the hypomelanistic P. cinereus and a lead-backed morph individual of similar size found in the same area; C) Hypomelanistic striped morph P. cinereus photographed by Tyler Devos from Kingston, Rhode Island.

03/2022 - Hypomelanistic Red-backed Salamander

Very lucky to find and officially describe the first hypomelanistic unstriped morph red-backed salamander (Plethodon cinereus) that has been ever found!

Natural history note published in Herpetological Review.

06/25/2021 - New Snake Species from China

Happy to take part in describing a new fossorial snake species, Achalinus huang jietangi sp. nov., in China!

Paper published in Asian Herpetological Research.
