Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, I earned my B.A. in Language and Literature specializing in Portuguese with a minor in English at the University of Sorocaba. Over three years, I had the privilege of teaching Portuguese to more than 180 students across three public schools.

I then relocate to Tübingen, Germany, where I completed my M.A. in English Linguistics, at the University of Tübingen. After getting the degree, I worked as an Instructor for three semesters at the same institution, teaching English syntax to undergraduate students, having approximatelly 100 students.

During my first three years in Germany, I worked as a private Portuguese tutor, assisting international students to learn or improve their Portuguese skills, having in total about 3.000 hours of personalized lessons in one-on-one sessions.

In 2021, I started my PhD in Linguistics at the University of Cologne, which I successfully defended in January 2025. My dissertation explores the influence of agentivity on Differential Object Marking in Spanish. Nowadays, I contribute as a researcher fellow to Project B04 of the CRC 1252 "Prominence in Language".
