TI Tongil Kim

TI Tongil Kim is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. His research focuses on better understanding consumer decisions by combining large public and proprietary data sets and applying statistics, economics, and econometrics to develop marketing and policy insights. In particular, his research focuses on the intersection between marketing and Sustainable Development Goals (health care, climate change, and crime).


TI Tongil Kim is a 2024 Marketing Science Institute (MSI) Scholar; 2023 INFORMS Society for Marketing Science Early Career Fellow; 2012 ISMS Doctoral Consortium Fellow; and 2010 AMA-Sheth Doctoral Consortium Fellow.


TI Tongil Kim received his MS in Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University and his PhD in Marketing at the University of California, Berkeley. TI has taught marketing analytics and predictive analytics courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including MBA and MS courses.
