I strive to inspire curiosity in my students. My easy-going teaching style incorporates the student's previous knowledge and strengths, which facilitates learning at each student's individual level. I incorporate teaching strategies that help my students become independent learners. While I encourage my students to recognize that hard work pays off, it is important to me that I remember why students come to me in the first place - music is fun!
To develop in students a knowledge, competency, sensitivity and aesthetic awareness that will create the foundation for lifelong enjoyment of music.
