A Poet's View Of Discipline
Most people think discipline is waking up at 5 AM, working long hours, or never taking breaks.
To me, discipline is poetry.
It is the quiet decision to continue when motivation has already left the room.
It is showing up on days when progress feels invisible.
It is writing another line, taking another step, learning another lesson, even when nobody is watching.
Poetry is not always loud. Neither is discipline.
Both are built from small moments repeated over time.
A single word becomes a sentence.
A single sentence becomes a story.
A single action becomes a habit.
A single habit becomes a life.
My discipline is not about perfection.
It is about consistency.
The willingness to keep moving forward, one verse at a time, one day at a time.
And when I look back, the results are simply the poem that discipline wrote.
