Why I Choose Not To Stay In One Lane

The Advantage of Being Multi-Disciplinary

People often ask me what I do.

The answer isn't always simple.

Over the years, I've worked across engineering, manufacturing, logistics, hospitality, business development, and product development. To some, that may seem unfocused. To me, it's curiosity.

Each field taught me something different. Engineering taught precision. Manufacturing taught quality. Logistics taught coordination. Hospitality taught customer experience. Business development taught communication. Product development taught me how everything connects.

Over time, I realized that many challenges share similar patterns. A bottleneck is a bottleneck, whether it exists in a warehouse, a production line, a customer journey, or a software workflow.

The value of being multi-disciplinary isn't knowing a little about everything. It's being able to connect ideas across different domains and apply lessons from one field to another.

Instead of asking, "How does this industry solve this problem?" I often ask, "Has any industry solved a similar problem before?"

That perspective has shaped the way I think, learn, and solve problems.

I don't claim to be a polymath. I simply enjoy learning, understanding systems, and connecting ideas. My goal remains the same regardless of the industry:
