MINIMUM STANDARDS FOR TRYING OUT FOR THE CLUB
Workout Description:
We promote and encourage all four competitive swim strokes (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle).
Workouts range from 1600m to 4000m (64-160 lengths).
Thunder Rays is not a learn-to-swim program.
Minimum swim standards are:
a) Ability to swim 200m continuously.
b) Proper breathing technique, with face in the water for freestyle, required.
c) Prospective swimmers must meet our coach’s standard of quality.
Individuals who are interested in joining the club must send an email to our club website. (thunderraysmastersswimming@gmail.com) See Contact Us in the bar above. Names will be added to our waitlist. Our coach will contact each individual to set up a time for a tryout. If an individual is unsuccessful in their tryout our coach might suggest that the swimmer take a year to develop their skill and then come back and tryout again.
