John has been with Thrive Tribe since the beginning and has built a loyal following through his high-energy workouts, empowering coaching style, and constant positivity.
Whether he’s leading at 6 a.m. HIIT class or checking in with members on nutrition progress, John's mission is simple: help people believe in themselves again.
John’s fitness journey started when he was in college, juggling classes, work, and burnout. Exercise became his outlet — not just for physical strength but for mental clarity.
“I used to think working out was just about looking fit,” she says. “Now I know it’s about showing up for yourself — even on the hard days.”
After earning her personal training certification, John joined Thrive Tribe with a vision to help others build confidence and consistency, not just muscle. He believes in training the whole person — body, mind, and spirit.
Coach John’s approach focuses on functional movement, mindfulness, and progress over perfection. He blends strength training, mobility work, and mindset coaching to help members stay motivated without burning out.
His motto: “Do something today your future self will thank you for.”
He teaches that fitness isn’t punishment, it’s self-care. Whether you’re a beginner or an athlete, his workouts are adaptable and challenging in all the right ways.
“John changed the way I see fitness. I used to dread workouts, but now I actually look forward to them. He makes every session fun and motivating.”

Coach John’s biggest piece of advice for anyone starting their wellness journey is to focus on small, consistent actions.
“You don’t need to go all in from day one. Start with ten minutes a day — even if it’s just a walk, a stretch, or a moment to breathe. The hardest part is showing up, but once you do, everything else follows.”
He reminds members that progress is not linear — it’s made up of daily choices that stack up over time.
Community Check-Ins: “It’s amazing seeing members encourage each other. Accountability really does change the game.”
Nutrition Tracking: “I love how easy it is to plan meals — especially with the new grocery guide tool.”
Guided Meditation Library: “Mental reset = better workouts. I tell every client to take 5 minutes a day to breathe and reset.”
John begins his mornings with a meditation through Thrive Tribes Wellness section and a hot black coffee before heading to the gym. He begins a group session online, checks in on his Thrive Tribe clients, responds to emails/questions, and ends his day with journaling or yoga. Coach John remains motivated by remembering “Balance is everything. I train hard, but I also rest hard. That’s how I stay consistent long-term.”
John says joining Thrive Tribe has been one of the most rewarding experiences of his career.
“I love that Thrive Tribe isn’t just about workouts, it’s about people. Everyone is welcome here. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about showing up as you are and growing from there."
He hopes to keep helping members find confidence through movement, one session at a time.
