Our Purpose
The Three Rivers Ghostbusters (or 3RGB for short) are a Pittsburgh-based cosplay fan group modeled after the "Ghostbusters" movie franchise and the various visual media based on, or inspired by it. We are thrilled to welcome new fans and potential partners into our community as we celebrate this iconic series together.
Our mission is to cosplay for a cause; whether we are supporting local charities and fundraisers, appearing at conventions, or bringing excitement to private parties, we are dedicated to making a positive impact across the Pittsburgh area. We truly believe that no job is too big and no donation is too small when it comes to helping our community.
As long as we get to have fun doing what we love and can brighten the days of fans in the process, we consider our mission a success. We invite you to join us in this journey—whether by attending one of our events or collaborating on a future project—and we look forward to sharing our passion for Ghostbusting with you!

A Summary of a What A Ghostbusters Franchise Does...
Step right this way as we explore the world of our specialized organization! We assemble, create, customize, and modify props and costumes to meticulously resemble the regalia visually recognizable as "Ghostbusters uniforms and gear". You will often find us dressed in this iconic gear at social events—such as comic conventions, 80s-themed events, and movie revival nights—all for the sake of charity and our own enjoyment.
If you look to your left, you might even see an Ecto-mobile! Some of our members have converted their vehicles into these masterpieces, complete with the classic "No Ghost" logo, a roof rack full of scientific "thingamabobs," flashing lights, and external speakers. We do what we do because we love the films created by Ivan Reitman, Dan Aykroyd, and Harold Ramis, as well as the entire expanded universe.
But the real heart of itr is our mission: making the world a little better and brighter for those who need it. We are always ready to lend a hand for causes such as Relay for Life, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, and the Backpack Brigade. To ensure we maintain the public trust, all our members have obtained and currently maintain PA Act 33 and Act 34 clearances. We also follow strict conduct protocols to ensure every interaction remains professional and child-friendly.
