October 2018

Final Standings

The Spooktacular Freebuy lived up to its name and it was an exciting finish for the month of October. All titles were up for grabs and the final game was fought down to the bitter end.

Points Title - JimboAAkimbo

Going into the final night, JimboAAkimbo had a 370 point lead over Shady. It was going to be close. He finished with a modest 18th for 250 points to extend his lead.

All he could now is wait. Like Jimbo Nicklaus tallying his scorecard in the Club House while he watched an aging Shady Palmer finishing his 18th hole. Shady eventually bubbled for 350 -- not enough to creep past Jimbo.

Jimbo had a THR leading 7 FT appearances and did that in 2 games less than his two trailing competitors! Good solid play all month with an average position of 24th gave him the edge that was needed. Very nice job Jimbo!! You earned this, mate!

Winnings Title - SlowRollAA

The Spooktacular will play its very last trick of the night. With the added prize money, all of the payout positions basically quadrupled! Instead of $5 and change for 1st place, it was now $20 and change. This had a winner take all affect on the winnings title. And that winner was SlowRollAA!! Congrats!!

SlowRoll has been a one or two game per week member for going on two years. I am not sure what his biggest haul at THR was over that time, but this one will go into his scrapbook for sure.

Very nice win SlowRoll!! And you get the title to go with it too! Congratulations.

And an honorable mention to Badboy23 who came on like barnstormers to capture 2nd on the board. Very nice night Badboy!!

King of the Freebuy - MrLaufer

This award is for "Best Performance by a Male in a Supporting Role" and it goes to MrLaufer! He had played in only 18 of the 23 games and what games he had.

MrL made 5 final tables and could have easily made 6. The numbers he put up rivaled those of both JimboAA and Shady. and "he coulda been a contender!" Imagine that last part in my best Marlon Brando voice.

Of the 18 games, MrL had an average position of 20th, which is four better than Jimbo. Had he played a full schedule at that level, he would have had a shot at the title.

So well played bro! Very nice job. Time to move on. Let's go spar some more!

Queen of the Freebuy - Seaeyes

This award is for "Best Performance by a Female in the Turn" and it goes to Seaeyes. Always lurking somewhere for the first 16 games, then all of a sudden she exploded and went on a tear!

She began a 7- game streak that netted her 5 FT appearances and 3150 points. Seaeyes takes down a respectable 4th place finish on the leaderboard and is our Top Witch for October! If we had a Top Witch award that is.

Some keen observers will remember that Seaeyes took home the Points Title last month. Well played girl!

Proud of you Sea!! Very nice month.

Week #5 - Monday and Tuesday

MONDAY

With only 3 games left for the month, Monday nights game made things really interesting!

Badboy23 captures a 3rd place finish to gain major ground on the lead and is within spitting distance. His second FT in a row after a weekend of rest. Yeah right, rest my ass!

Fellow red-shirt Dunner (yo yo steve22055) took down the tournament and is now in a virtual 4-way tie for the third spot with Badboy23, Seaeyes and Jampar -- a mere 75 points separate them. Dunner also has a very good shot at the top winnings spot. He is just a pittance away from Shady Slim. The gauntlet is thrown down!!

The biggest winner was the 9th place finish by JimboAAkimbo. This is a leaderboard high 7th FT appearance and he passes a stalled Shady for the lead. Jimbo has been playing very well this month and usually runs deep. It is looking like it might come down to a coin flip for the next two games. Good luck Jimbo!!

TUESDAY

Tuesday nite went to 3HeartsHoldMine. And welcome to the club! 3Hearts just joined us this month and likes to chat. A lot! =)

MrLaufer turned in a personal high 2nd place finish. He is resting comfortably in the top ten.

One person to keep an eye on is Seaeyes who made her 5th FT in the last 7 days!! Her 7-day run with a 7th place finish Tuesday night has netted her 3150 points and $7.79. Seaeyes can take both titles with a win tonite. So watch out guys!

JimboAA placed better than Shady Slim to extend his lead by 370 points. Tonite's Spooktacular will decide both of their eerie fates.

The title for winnings is another matter. This could come down to just a coin flip between Shady and Dunner. Jampar has a good shot at it with an FT appearance at the Spooktacular.

Note: The game on WED 10/24 with missing payout data for top 8 positions has been guesstimated! The guesstimate may be a few cents off but close enough for this leaderboard -- if we had a leaderboard that is.

Week #4

Shady Slim makes his fourth straight final table Monday night to modestly extend his lead atop the board. Raddeckel and Seaeyes gain ground on that lead with their finishes Monday night. This is Seaeyes second FT appearance in a row and has moved up several spots.

Jkmoody706 (aka JKM777) has his first FT appearance on Monday night and takes down the tournament with the win.

Tuesday night was Bounty Ladies Night. Runabout, SingMe and WoohooSue all went on the lam when Dpolerio issued Wanted posters on their heads for 250 pesos each. Every one of these banditas are a starr in my book -- get it? Starr? nm!

For the fifth straight night, Shady Slim has made the final table Tuesday with a 7th place finish. Shady lost ground to JimboAAkimbo who took down 5th. Jimbo is within spitting distance of the top spot. Dunner (aka Steve22055) gained major ground with a 2nd place finish.

Tuesday night belonged to ActionDan with his first final table appearance in the Freebuy this month. Dan took down the tournament and KOed WoohooSue, one of the tres amigas roaming the badlands. This was Dan's second added bounty on the evening. The other coming earlier in the Bonanza, where he had a 2nd place finish. Dan came close to accomplishing a bifecta, which MarineCJ had done last week. Dan's total combined haul for the evening was a whopping $16.41 -- very nice payday!!

What a glorious Vinyl Night on Wednesday. The house was rocking and so were the tables. ActionDan picked up from the night before and took down 2nd place, almost picking up back-to-back wins in the Freebuy. Gmbler (aka Twinkle-toes Hal) makes another final table, he is batting .500 on FTs per games played. Seaeyes has another FT appearance with her 4th place finish and is moving up the board by leaps and bounds.

Thursday night showed that Seaeyes is running hotter than a two-dollar pistol! She has yet another FT appearance with her 7th place finish and is coming on strong. Congrats to Stil for the win. Stil is an infrequent THR member with just 3 games this month. This is his first FT and it was for a win -- three times is a charm!

Friday nights bubble-boy was Legdil who is still looking for that elusive final table appearance this month. So what does a 10th place finish get you in the Freebuy? Well it gets you $5.41 if you take out both of the bounties! Legdil was in the right places at the right times for a total payout that almost rivaled first place.

Our Friday night winner was Oddjob. This is oddly enough Oddjob's first final table appearance ever in the Freebuy and it is for the win!!

Lots of jockeying for position on the leaderboard Friday. Jampar placed well and ekes past the absent Seaeyes for the third spot. JimboAAkimbo finished in 11th, but pulls within 20 points of the stalled Shady Slim for the top spot. Shaazy had his 5th FT appearance and jumps into the top ten with a 9th place finish. And BadBoy23's 2nd place finish is the most notable gain and rises to the 5th spot easily.

Only three games to go in November. With a mere 800 points between the top 4 players on the leaderboard right now, it is anyone's guess to who will come out on top come Halloween. With the bountiful treats that will be thrown around next Wednesday, it will be an interesting finish to be sure. Good luck to all!

Week #3

Jampar extends his points lead with a 4th place finish Monday night. This is his 4th FT appearance for the month! He is is also leading the winnings category as well.

After hiatus, fellow red-shirt SteelCrafter is back with a 5th place finish on Monday night. Welcome back Steel and very nice entrance!!

DragonKing has his 1st FT appearance and a win Monday night. Then another win on Wednesday night!! Dragon is playing well this week and moves easily into the top ten on the leaderboard.

Shady Slim gains ground on the top spot with a 4th place finish Wednesday and 9th on Thursday. JimboAAkimbo, always a solid player, eased on up the ranks with two 4th place finishes this week as well. Jimbo has his 4th FT appearance on Thursday. Both are within spitting distance of that top spot.

1ACRPLAY1 (aka 1THRPLAY1) first final table of the month is a win Thursday night. Playful also snagged a bounty this night for a grand total of $8.09 on the night. And NoodleDo's first final table is a win as well on Friday night. Come big, or stay at home baby!!

Friday night's game was a hoot! Gmblr0323 (aka Your Pal Hal) graced us with his second final table appearance of the month.

One of the key battles at the Friday night table was between JimboAAkimbo and Shady Slim -- Jimbo took down 2nd, Shady a 3rd. Both pass Jampar on the board, Shady's slight edge in points is enough to take first spot for now. Jampar still hangs on to the top money spot by a mere .09 cents.

As of Friday, only 85 points separate the top three in a very tight race at this point. On the money side, only .19 cents between the top 3 in that category.

Game of the Week - Call in the Marine

WoohooSueDoyles was one of our $3 bounties Tuesday night when she headed to the final table with a nice chip stack. Sue was crushing it all night. She has already proven herself a skillful hunter in the Bonanza last week. Can she capture her own bounty on this night?

JimboAAkimbo and 2rockets2 were in the hunt, but fell a little short. Their 4th and 5th place finishes, respectively, give them a boost into the top ten and a little bit closer to the top spot.

SingMeATune took a 9th place finish Tuesday to jump into the 2nd place spot. She has now cashed 9 out her 10 games this month!

After the dust settled, there were just two left -- MarineCJ and WoohooSue. This had a ring of familiarity to it. After some fact checking, these two duked it out in the first week of the Bonanza as well. They both had just taken out the bounties at the final table and went head-to-head.

MarineCJ was unwilling to give up and went on to take down the wins for both games. Nice job Marine. Valiant efforts by Sue too. Good games all!

The most notable event of this game is that MarineCJ also won the Bonanza tonight -- bifecta!!

Week #2

Singmeatune has only two FT appearances this week albeit short-lived. Her 8th & 9th place finishes garnered her enough points to jump into the top ten. But that is not the noteworthy part. Even though she has not hit big yet, it is only a matter of time. She is always there, poised to strike. If we had an award for Miss Consistency she would absolutely deserve it. Her average finishing position in the Freebuy is 15.9 with a low of 29th and was always in the money. Solid game play SingMe!!

Coming up the ranks quick is new THR member MyLastDonut (aka kushyy ) with a 2nd, 3rd & 6th place finish this week!! Very well played games by the new guy and easily moves into the top ten and is currently in 2nd!

And if Donut isn't enough to handle, then say hello to our little friend Jimmy418 (aka 420opponent) another member to welcome into the THR fold. Jimmy has made 2 FTs in 2 games with a high finish of 2nd so far. Keep an eye out for Jimmy in the days to come, he is also kicking some butt in the Bonanza too.

But how about that Jampar character Wednesday night! His K-tel Vinyl Night win propelled him to the number one slot in both categories. This was also his 3rd FT appearance including a 2nd place finish. He is the current leader in both categories with $9.90 and 2480 points.

Dpolerio gets his first win of the month Thursday nite and jumps into the top ten, currently in 6th. BadBoy made his third FT appearance with a 3rd place finish Thursday night and currently in 9th.

Monday night had 240 entries. A high for the month. This coming after the Dunner Scourge Purge from the tail end of last month.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night attendance dipped below 200 and probably the lowest in THR Freebuy history. All lows for the month are coming on the opening of the new Chat Room and other website changes. If you are reading down this far and have a hard time getting into chat, sorry! We are working on the problem.

Week #1

Week #1 had 7 players making two Final Table appearancess! BadBoy#23, ElStrangiato, Ksoslow, Nutz3r, Shaazy, Steve22055 (aka Dunner) and TheMasterJ. They are tearing it up on the felt already.

Ksoslow is in the lead with a very narrow margin over TheMasterJ, Shady Slim, Nutzer, Shaazy and ElStrangiato. Only 235 points separate the top 6 players at the end of the week.

While not leading, Nutzer is a star player for the week. With only 4 games on the week he is on fire with $1.58 and 365 points per game. One more decent game from Nutzer and the leaderboard would look a little bit different.

Everyone mentioned so far were in or near the final tables on Thursday and Friday night. We ended the week with some thrilling finishes for the Mystery Bounties both nights. Just a great way to cap off fun five days.

The Thursday Night Final Table Thriller ...

Thursday night has to be the game of the week in terms of excitement. BlueJeanie dropped a $10 Mystery Bounty into the mix. The bounty remained a mystery until it was revealed to be Gmbler0323 (aka Hal) who made his first Final Table appearance in a month of Sundays.

Heathencore knocked Hal out in 3rd place and won the tournament for a sweet payday. Heck, Heathen probably knocked out the top 18 almost single-handedly this night!

... and Friday's Mystery Bounty is?

Shady Slim took down the tournament on Friday and his own $3 Mystery Bounty! He was trailed by two hunters, ElStrangiato & BadBoy23. Both of them came close to capturing the $10 Gmbler0323 mystery bounty the night before.

Shaazy picks up a 2nd FT appearance and was in the hunt Friday too. But it is reported by a very credible source that Shady's biggest fear was sitting to his left all night -- Miss Paco!! He luckily side-stepped her on a few occasions and escaped capture.

Joy went solo Friday and the place was rocking!! Thank you for that Gaga too Joy! You sure know how to give the people what they want.

THR Bounty Bonanza

October 2018

Final Standings

Hold your horses pardner! You didn't have to be a Kreskin to see what was coming in the Bonanza this month.

What if the Sundance Kid had a cameo in the Quick and the Dead? Do you think he could have taken Russell Crowe in a showdown? Hackman for sure. DiCaprio for sure. Could the Kid have outgunned MarineCJ?

That is one of the burning questions this hombre is pondering as we finish out the month of October.

Points & Winnings Title - MarineCJ

You didn't need a Sharps rifle to see this coming from a mile away. If you did, then you were looking in the wrong direction. Once this hunter mounted his horse he pretty much was out in front right out of the starting gate.

MarineCJ had amassed enough points and winnings that he could just walk his horse across the finish line. Marine had a bit of slump toward the end, but finished the month in style with his 3rd place finish on Halloween.

Marine finished with 7645 points and $36.67 in winnings. He also had a THR Bonanza high 7 Top-6 finishes for the month which included 3 wins, also a high.

The most memorable games had to be the Monday-Tuesday clash between Marine and PSNyteowl back in week #3. The Monday game left the two in a virtual tie, but Tuesday was a different story. Marine won the Tuesday match over Nyteowl and also won the Freebuy too. That doesn't happen very often and all I can say is job well done Marine!! Congratulations.

King of the Bonanza - PSNyteowl

This award is for "Best Male Performance in a Recurring Role" and it goes to PSNyteowl. Pound for pound, the Owl is hands-down one of the deadliest gunslingers to hit the Bonanza. He only played in 13 of the 23 games this month and racked up 5285 points & $27.40 of winnings.

The Owl hit 6 Top-6 finishes and averaged $2.11 per game. His best streak came in Week #2 with two 4th place finishes, a 2nd and a win.

Had Owl played a full roster of games this month, the landscape would have been drastically different coming down to the wire. Nice shooting Owl!! Hope to see more of you in November.

Queen of the Bonanza - WoohooSueDoyles

This award is for "Best Female Performance Pre-Flop" and it goes to WoohooSueDoyles. Sue did not have to take her horse to the river to prove how deadly she is with a six-shooter.

Sues second game in the Bonanza came from a spin-in. She captured a 2nd place finish and picked up an added $2.50 bounty to boot. The next night she took the Bonanza for all the marbles and jumped to the leaderboard top ten.

Sue only played in 7 games this month and held her own against the likes of Marine and Owl. Her numbers rivaled theirs and it makes you wonder what if she took her horse to the river. Could she get it to drink?

Nice shooting Annie! And GL in November, hope to see more of ya!

Week #5 - Monday & Tuesday

MONDAY

With only 2 days to go, Monday's game saw a little movement on the leaderboard. MarineCJ still dominates both categories atop the charts. He is admittedly in a slump for five games straight, but slumps do end.

The New Gang are still riding hard thru Bonanza-land. ActionDan gets his first win Monday night with a modest $7.81 with several more KOs under his belt. DrBeerS grabs a 3rd place finish after his monster Friday night win. And Snackbags takes home a 4th place finish. The new guys are still strutting their stuff and look out for them in November!!

Biggest gainer Monday night was Wrenchturn. His 5th place finish gains major ground and he ekes past Dpolerio by a gnats ass for the 2nd spot. Both of these guys can string together good runs in the Bonanza.

There is a virtual 4-way tie for second place at this point in time. A mere 95 points separate Wrenchturn, Dpolerio, PSNyteOwl and Shady Slim. May the second best man win! LOL

TUESDAY

After Tuesday's game we can accurately announce that MarineCJ will be our Points Leader for the month. Congratulations Marine!! He is also leading in the winnings category unless PSNyteowl can pull out at least a 2nd place finish with a ton of KOs or even a win to capture that spot.

The second spot on the leaderboard is still up for grabs however. There is now a 240 point gap between the four players who are vying for that spot. Of those players, Dpolerio finished the highest Tuesday night in 17th -- just enough to give him a buffer of 155 points. Still too close to call.

Tuesday night's winner was ReignOfFire (aka FireRain). Fire had a strong second-half for the month. With this win and a 2nd place finish last week, Fire is locked and loaded to kick off November with a bang.

Week #4 Spotlight

MarineCJ is starting to dominate the board with his 3rd place finish Monday night. Wrenchturn captures his first win of the month with 8 KO's and a total payout of $8.76 Monday. Both are in our Game of the Week.

Special shout-out to JackStraw and SnackBags our newest members to the THR Family. Both are getting their feet wet in the Bonanza and took home added bounties Monday night! Welcome to THR guys!!

Raddeckel issued 250 peso rewards Tuesday night on Full of It (aka Humpster) and Wrenchturn. Both defended them well and made their appearances known at the final table.

ActionDan picked up his first added bounty of the night Tuesday, when he KOed Wrench. Wrench bubbled the tournament, but his 7th place finish allowed him to gain ground on the leaders above him who seemed to be nowhere in sight this night.

Humpster avoided ActionDan, but eventually succumbed with a 3rd place finish. His bounty went unclaimed. ActionDan took 2nd place with a tidy $8.32, including added bounty. Like SnackBags the night before, a 2nd place finish can be almost as good as a win with that added bounty loot.

ActionDan will pick up his second added bounty and a win in the Freebuy Tuesday night. He came very close to pulling off a win in both the Bonanza and the Freebuy in one night, which MarineCJ pulled off last week.

Shaazy picks up his first win of the month on a glorious Vinyl Night. The Shaaz also picked up an added bounty for a total $8.00 in winnings on the night. Wrenchturn bubbled with 3 KOs, but picks up another 450 points and moves up a little more on the board. And Dpolerio finishes with another month-high 3rd place. Dpol adds another 700 points and passes Shady Slim for the third spot on the board. This is the third time Dpol finished 3rd in the last four games and is having a very nice run of late.

So many new faces hit the final table on Thursday night. EliteNit bubbled the money spot, but not before picking up 6 KOs on the night. H00ker squeezed into the money for 6th. BigD and Viking placed well -- Viking was ecstatic in chat. Nice job Viking! ReignOfFire (aka FireRain) makes a second appearance with a 2nd place finish. And the night eventually went to CatPaine. Cat crushed it with 11 KOs for a total take-home of $8.30. This was only Cat's 5th game this month and it was a whopper! All-in-all I believe the night was pretty exciting for everyone of the players. Very nice game gang!!

Friday night was a little different. Raddeckel provided the bounty loot for the night, but there was a twist. After late registration closed for the Bonanza the bounties would be the top two chip leaders. For the briefest of moments this was going to be SingMe. And like that third card in a spin-to-get-in pull of the lever, she dropped to the third position and narrowly missed being a marked bandita.

The bounties ended up being two non-THR members -- JackieSam (1st Bonanza and he gets marked) and PenguinNuts (4th Bonanza, first cash). Both continued on from this point unaware that they were marked. But that was okay, they had scary chip stacks and SingMe was hovering in the vicinity the rest of the night.

SingMe went on to finish 4th, her best for the month. DragonKing was at the final table too and finished 5th. But in the end DrBeerS (aka DrBeerMan) took down the tournament and both bounties. Doc is one of our newest members at THR and this was only his 3rd Bonanza this month. He had 10 KOs for the night with a combined take-home of $13.63. Welcome to THR Doc!!

Game of the Week - Looking for Mr. Goodwrench

Monday night had all the hallmarks of an all-round great game -- large attendance, added bounties and MarineCJ at the final table!! It was also a very long game, clocking in at 2 hours and 34 minutes.

Two of our newest THR members, JackStraw and SnackBags claimed the added bounties this night -- one of which was MarineCJ who JackStraw claimed after the 2-hour mark.

The match really got interesting during the final 4 players -- the two new guys, MarineCJ and Wrenchturn. Snackbags fell first, followed by MarineCJ. With added bounty, Snackbags took home $6.61 for the night.

Wrenchturn and JackStraw duked it out for what seemed like an eternity, then came the break. It was a seesaw match until Wrenchturn finally took it down in the end. Wrench had a mammoth final 8 KO's with the top prize for $8.76 on the night! JackStraw's prize plus added bounty grossed a whopping $8.43 -- who said 2nd place is not as good as 1st LOL.

Week #3 Spotlight

MarineCJ and PSNyteowl pick up where they left off last week with two well played games Monday night. Marine finished 5th over Owl in 8th for a modest gain in points. The battle did not stop there. Marine and Owl went head-to-head in the Tuesday night game and is our Game of the Week.

Jimmy418 (aka 420opponent) has added two wins to his cap this week. Wednesday night's win catapults him into the top ten easily. Jimmy is somebody to look out for in the days to come.

FutureFemPro captures her first Bonanza win on the month Thursday night. Tough battle too. Both Lendo777 and SteelCrafter did not go down without a fight. Exciting game to watch!

Friday's final table included Marine and Owl once more. Owl finished over Marine and only 910 points separate them now. Dpolerio captures a 3rd place finish, plus a $2.50 bounty, to edge a little closer to the top.

Game of the Week - Clash of the Titans

After two great games by MarineCJ and PSNyteowl Monday night, they entered Tuesdays game with piddly-points separating them atop the leaderboard.

Both made the final table with Seaeyes and SteelCrafter. Seaeyes is another points leader in the thick of things at the top. Steel, brother red-shirt, is off to a good start after a little hiatus.

Eventually it came down to just Marine and the Owl. Marine took it down in the end. He had a monster haul of $8.99 with that win. Nice payday, but there is more.

Another thing that makes this game notable is that MarineCJ also won the Freebuy tonight -- bifecta!!

Week #2 Spotlight

MarineCJ and Seaeayes locked horns Monday and Tuesday! Both made Top-6 appearances back-to-back with great finishes in both of their games. Each have a win too and shot up the leaderboard while nobody was looking. Their 2-day totals were huge with the edge going to Seaeyes' 1800pts/$12.55 to MarineCJ's 1600pts/$9.65.

PSNyteOwl's knock-out prowess carried over from his monster Freebuy game last Thursday. Owl had a great week in the Bonanza with 4 straight Top-6 appearances. His 4-game total racked up $19.96 and 3000 points. Owl ends the week in 2nd place. If we had a Wyatt Earp Award , Owl would deserve it.

Then there is our Annie Oakley of the Bonanza, WoohooSueDoyles!! Sue came into Thursday's night game on a spin for a 2nd place finish and a $2.50 bounty. She turned around the next night and captured her first win of the month, or maybe ever (not sure). Her 2-game totals were 1800 points and $12.64. The points are enough to land her in 9th place for the month.

Shoutout to MrLaufer who is moving up with consistent, modest gains. Only a matter of time before MrL hits a big one. He ends the week in 4th place and poised to capture the lead.

Shady Slim has 3 Top-6 appearances this month, but continues to struggle. He is going to bed his horse down for the weekend, then ride out again next Monday. He is currently in 3rd place.

MarineCJ ended the week with a 10th place finish in Friday's game and has 3 Top-6 appearances on the month. This garnered enough points to move him into the top spot with a narrow lead over PSNyteowl. Marine stands 2nd in winnings with $17.25. PSNyteowl is our current winnings leader with $20.21.

As of Friday's game, there are only 900 points separating the top 6 players who are MarineCJ, PSNyteowl, Shady Slim, MrLaufer, Seaeyes and DPolerio. This is the half-way point of the month and it is anybody's game. Good luck next week!!

Week #1

PokerBrian and Amuna (who are these masked men?) seems to be the players to beat this month and last month as well. Are they members of THR? Not sure, but probably not. Time to bring them into the fold, chat them up on the felt and get them in here.

Tuesday October 2nd was the highest attending Bonanza event to date with 51 unique players (does not include re-entries).

B_eazly, BHaig and Raddeckel had two finishes within the Top-6 this week.

B_eazly (aka RawBacon) sure is getting his share of bounty pie. He scored big on Thursday night with a huge win and raked in a whopping $7.43 combined prize/KO loot. Bacon had a 3rd place finish as well and is our ranking THR member on the leaderboard with 1615 points. He is our overall cash leader with $9.98 in just 3 games.

BHaig played twice this week. Both games were Top-6 appearances and a win in the Bonanza. BHaig cashed for $9.26 and 1550 points and will be a person to watch for next week along with Bacon.

Ruggid had a monster night last Tuesday to the tune of $8.36 combined prize and KO monies. This is the bar to beat so far this month. It is unclear if Ruggid is member of THR as well -- chat him up on the tables too.

Shady Slim settles into 4th place and is trying to regain some of the magic from his admittedly sick run in the last week of September. His top finish is 3rd and a min cash for 7th on Friday night.

Sick 4-day run for PSNyteowl in week #2 !!!

Game of the Week

Thursday night has to be the game of the week in terms of excitement. There were two bounties ( PSNyteowl & Shady Slim) still left when it came down to the final 4 players which included MarineCJ and WoohooSueDoyles.

MarineCJ KOed Owl for fourth. WoohooSue KOed Slim for third. MarineCJ went on to win the match and climb up into the 2nd place spot on the boards. (Marine's 10th place finish Friday night will edge him into the lead)

FACTOID: WoohooSue spun into this tournament with a few pennies and takes home a sweet $6.95 (inc. bounty).
