Among our favorites for finding some new projects and introducing crocheters to new techniques. Patterns from our Feb. Hearts project are in here too, as well as broomstick lace, irish lace, and moreA Leisure Arts book.
Sometimes you don't need a whole project but you're looking for edgings, appliques and other Embellishments. This book recommended by Sharon is a treasure trove of "odds and ends" of crochet projects.
Wool not your thing? Or just ready to branch out and try something new but a little leary of what to DO with these new materials? A good source of patterns for non-wool natural yarns so you can get the hang of working with these materials. Also recommended by Sharon.
Sharon recommends this for beginners or those that haven't ventured past the first thing they learned to crochet. She used the hooded baby blanket to practice her tension using a variety of yarns and hooks.
