Kool Pop Covers

Hook: WW hook

Yarn:  random WW from stash

Nichole made these at our last meeting. Trying to find her little projects to do besides butterflies that teach her new techniques and stitches . :) These little pouches, also made with an open bottom so it slides up the cool pop as they eat it, are to keep small hands from getting too cold.

Freeze Pop Sleeve – open bottom cover

Chain 6-10 depending on size of pop.

Join in a ring with a slip stitch.

Chain 2.

HDC in each stitch around.  (6-10 stitches)

Join with a slip stitch.

Chain 2.

HDC in each stitch around. (6-10 stitches) and

Repeat last line until it is about 4 inches long.

Bind off.

Sew in ends.

Find a kid with a cool pop.

Cool Pop Cover II – for tight crocheters – closed bottom cover

Chain 6-10.

Join in a ring with a slip stitch.

Chain 2.

HDC in each stitch around.  (6-10 stitches)

Join with a slip stitch.

Chain 2

Do 2 HDC in EACH stitch around.

Join with slip stitch at top of first HDC.

Chain 2.

Do 1 HDC in each stitch around.

Join with a slip stitch.

Repeat last row until 4-6” tall.

Bind off.

Sew in any ends.

Find yet another kid with a cool pop.
