from Total Connect 2.0 mobile app, at the "Activity" menu, you can play and download video (7-day free cloud storage of recordings at no cost) - test this feature regularly as there are times that recordings are not playable requiring you to perform a manual soft reset:
Begin holding down your SkyBell doorbell button
The SkyBelll will flash in the following pattern. (Flashing Green, Flashing Red-Green, Flashing Blue)
Once the SkyBell begins flashing BLUE release the button and allow the SkyBell to reboot. (This will take approximately a minute)
The SkyBell will begin recording within 10 minutes after rebooting

in the Cameras section in the Total Connect 2.0 app, select the Video Doorbell gear or menu to: (a) name the doorbell, (b) change the LED color, (c) turn on/off indoor and/or outdoor chime sound, (d) adjust motion detection sensitivity & (e) adjust the doorbell speaker volume.
in the Notifications section of the Total Connect 2.0 app, both Doorbell Press Alert and/or Motion Alerts can be individually enabled - as long as Push Notifications are turned on in the app and your phone is not on silent mode. These settings in one app will apply to all other apps on same Total Connect 2.0 account.

Cloud means "off-site" (not local). Video cameras require High-Speed Internet service and good signals at Wireless Cameras (we suggest Cable Internet or Fiber Optic Internet instead of DSL). Follow these steps to conduct a speed test for your WiFi network for WiFi Video Cameras:
Download one of the following apps: Android Speed Test App -or- iOS Speed Test App.
Place your smartphone next to where your WiFi Camera will be installed (make sure your doors & windows are closed).
Tap “Begin Test”.
Record the values for “Download” and “Upload” speed.
WiFi Video Cameras will require Upload & Download Speed as shown in specifications above. If you are below this speed level, increase your bandwidth/connection speeds with your Internet Service Provider and/or create a WiFi Mesh System (see information below in "A few notes about WiFi".

When power goes out for your router, sometimes a manual reset/reboot is required - this Reset Plug will cycle power through your router every five minutes until service returns.
Depending on your environment, you may find a need to create a WiFi Mesh network with multiple access points (which works much better than an extender/repeater) to speed up internet access for your WiFi devices or increase WiFi signal to devices on your network - cameras may need this. Select here for systems designed to saturate your home with WiFi.
Device WiFi frequency band must match your WiFi Network System frequency band availability (2.4GHz vs. 5GHz) and extension (B/G/N, etc.).
