The app provides local control of the Alarm System, and if so equipped, control of enrolled Z-wave enabled lights, locks, thermostats, and more.

Apple HomeKit is a system that lets you control compatible smart home devices all in one place. It allows you to control compatible devices (Apple calls them accessories) like your Alarm System, thermostat, lights, locks and more.

Provides simple on/off control using Siri® voice commands -or- iOS devices (iPhone®/iPad®/ Apple Watch® / HomePod™) using the Home app
What pairing with HomeKit does NOT do
What pairing with HomeKit does NOT do
Advanced control and management found in Honeywell's Total Connect
You cannot bypass an Alarm System zone
You cannot receive Alarm System event notifications
You cannot silence, disarm or reset zones in Alarm or Trouble conditions
You cannot view Alarm System Life Safety zones (Smoke Detectors, Heat Detectors, Carbon Monoxide Detectors, etc.)
You do not utilize Keypad Codes
You can know who utilized the Alarm System via HomeKit (if you shared permissions with others) since HomeKit does not report specific Users (Total Connect will report HomeKit arming & disarming events as "User 950")
HomeKit does not provide Alarm monitoring services
HomeKit will not interface with the Z-Wave devices that are enrolled with the Lyric Controller.
