Welcome to a new and exciting year of school. While it feels like everything has changed, some things have not, including our passion and dedication as parents to our children so that they will continue to have the best education and experiences possible during their middle school years and beyond.

Thornton Middle School’s PTSA supports critical academic needs and is an active voice in decisions that impact your child’s health, safety, and quality of education, and builds a stronger, more inclusive school community. We invite you to join PTSA for your Child because increasing our membership even by one, makes it possible to:

● Advocate for parents, students, and teachers
● Host talks that inspire students
● Provide Leadership opportunities for students
● Provide an opportunity for students to show their talents
● Support teachers and their activities
● Support wellness programs for students and teachers

There is no wrong or right way to be involved – anything you can give, whether it’s time or money, will support your child’s potential. We invite you to join because we can do more together than apart.

Membership is only $13/member. Parents, staff, students, grand parents and friends can join, too!

We hope to see you at our PTSA meetings, held on the first Wednesday of the month (unless a holiday) at 6:30 PM.  Attending PTSA meetings is a great way to keep informed and be a part of your child’s school experience. Our monthly meetings usually end by 8:00 PM, but if you can’t stay for the entire meeting, that’s fine! Students are encouraged to attend the PTSA meetings.  With changes happening all around us, we will have most of our meetings this year on Zoom so that it is easier for you to attend.
