Thompson's Transitional Algebra

Welcome to Mrs. Thompson's Transitional Algebra website. During the school year, we will be using a modified "flipped classroom." The idea behind a flipped classroom is that primarily, learning and note taking is done at home for homework, and then students practice their skills in class, where I am available to assist them. If a student is unable to access the videos at home, through either a computer with internet or a smartphone/tablet with internet, I have 2 tablets that will have the videos downloaded onto them, to sign out on nights when there are assignments. Students will be given approximately 2 video assignments per week, with an accompanying task (such as completing a notes sheet or recording example problems).
