Thomas Roper
Broadcast News Anchor/Reporter/WriterPhotography by Matt Wyatt
Hello! My name is Thomas Roper. I am currently a junior at Tupelo High School. I joined WTHS my freshman year. This is when I was first introduced to the world of broadcast journalism. I spent my first semester learning exactly what it means to create a news broadcast, even with tough obstacles to overcome. Throughout time, I learned so much about writing scripts, shooting video, editing packages, anchoring shows, and so much more. I fell in love with all the many aspects of the program and cannot wait to see what it has for me in the future. This year, I took on a major leadership role as I was given the privilege of being the Executive Producer of WTHS Media.
