In addition to guiding hundreds of students and families through the college search and application process as a school-based counselor, Katie has been invited to participate in an array of professional opportunities. Her relevant experience is extensive.

Recent responsibilities as Director of College Counseling at Kent Denver School 2014-2020:
Oversaw and implemented a complete redesign of the college counseling program and model at Kent Denver School, hiring two additional professional college counselors to replace the teacher/counselor model that previously existed at KDS
Innovated, collaborated, developed, and executed robust, comprehensive programming for Kent Denver students and families
Counselor Advisory Board Participation (one of a small group of counselors nationwide invited by colleges and universities to help support their admission efforts, review marketing materials, provide insight on climate of college admission and high school relations, and more):
