Matsumoto Castle in Nagano Prefecture. The main keep behind me was constructed in 1594 and remains to this day.

Outside of Astronomy, I do enjoy reading up on history, particularly on Sengoku Jidai or 'the warring states period of Japan'. In fact, I've traveled to most parts of Japan visiting Tenshu or 'castle keeps' that have remained since the era of the Samurai. This also provides me the excellent chance to enjoy the various hot springs all over Japan.

Since High School, I've been an avid Ultimate Frisbee player. It may not provide the most complete or thorough workout routine but Frisbee is definitely the most enjoyable way to get some exercise.
