Welcome to THN (The Humility Nirankari) app, a personal spiritual project created and managed by Utkarsh Prajapati (Utkarsh Nirankari). We are highly dedicated to maintaining the trust of our users and ensuring the absolute safety of your personal data and spiritual reflections ("ehsaas").
By using the THN app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect and How We Use It
To provide a secure, functional, and interactive community experience, we collect the following types of information:
Profile Data: Name, Email address, and Profile Picture provided voluntarily by you during the account creation/sign-up process.
User-Generated Content (UGC): Spiritual posts, personal experiences, text articles, comments, and photos shared or uploaded by you within the community section.
Technical Data: Device identifiers, IP addresses. This data is automatically processed to facilitate push notifications, app performance monitoring, and crash reporting.
2. Third-Party Services & Data Storage
We partner with industry-standard, secure third-party infrastructure providers to run THN App:
ImageKit.io: All user-uploaded images, graphics, and profile pictures are safely stored, optimized, and processed via ImageKit.
OneSignal: We use OneSignal to send you critical push notifications regarding new community posts, spiritual updates, and project missions. OneSignal may collect device tokens.
Firebase / Cloud Database: All your authenticated credentials, textual posts, likes, comments, and configuration data are stored in a highly secure, encrypted cloud environment.
YouTube API Services: "We use YouTube API Services / Embed Players to allow users to share and view spiritual videos via YouTube URLs. By viewing this content, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy."
Google Firebase Analytics & Advertising ID: "We use Google Firebase Analytics to monitor app performance, track user engagement, and improve app functionality. For these purposes, the app automatically collects and processes the Android Advertising ID (AAID) and device identifiers. This data is strictly used for internal analytics and crash reporting, and we do not share or sell this data to any third-party advertising networks."
3. Data Retention & Automatic Expiry (1-Year Policy)
To ensure optimal storage management, platform speed, and to keep the content fresh, THN App enforces a strict retention policy:
All user-uploaded images and media posts have a maximum lifespan of 1 year (12 months).
After exactly 12 months from the date of posting, images are automatically and permanently deleted from ImageKit and our active cloud databases.
4. User Control & Mandatory Data Deletion
We respect your right to digital privacy and provide absolute control over your personal data:
In-App Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your profile directly from the Profile Settings at any time. Clicking this will trigger an instant and permanent hard-delete of your profile, email, posts, comments, likes, and photos from our database and ImageKit.io.
Web-Based Deletion Request: If you have uninstalled the app or wish to delete your entire data history without reinstalling it, you can submit an official deletion request via our online web portal: https://sites.google.com/view/thnapp/delete-account. Alternatively, you can request deletion by emailing us directly at thehumilitynirankari@gmail.com. All valid web requests are processed within 48-72 hours.
5. Community Safety & User-Generated Content (UGC) Moderation
THN app is a peaceful space for sharing spiritual thoughts. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward objectionable, abusive, or harmful content:
Report & Block Tools: Users have access to built-in, easy-to-use 'Report' buttons on every post and profile, alongside 'Block' and 'Unfollow' features to immediately hide content from abusive users.
24-Hour Moderation: The Admin reviews all flagged or reported items and retains the absolute right to remove violating content or permanently ban/block users within 24 hours of a report.
6. Data Security & Encryption
Your data security is paramount. All information transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (using HTTPS/SSL). We strictly do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with any third-party advertising networks.
7. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
THN app is designed for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has registered an account without verified parental consent, we will take immediate steps to delete that account and all associated data from our systems.
