1. What is your service area?

Tutoring takes place in the following areas, at the local library or other public place: Westland, Livonia, Plymouth, Canton, Wayne

2. What subjects are taught?

Monica is a teacher and tutor specializing in French, English, and Study Skills.  If you are looking for tutoring in another subject area, a referral to another tutor can be arranged when possible.

3. How do I book a session?

       To view my upcoming calendar, follow the "Book a Session" link on the homepage. After completing You will receive an email confirmation of your appointment.

4. Can I schedule lessons at a package price?

Yes.  When you book a 6-week or 3-month engagement, you will receive a package price, as opposed to hourly tutoring fees.

5. Can I book a session on short notice?

Normally, appointments are planned in advance, but in some circumstances, a last-minute lesson can be arranged. Please email or call and I will respond as soon as possible.

6. What is the typical lesson length?

Lessons can be scheduled for 1 hour, 1 hour 30 minutes, or 2 hours,

7. How many times per week will I meet with a tutor?

You can plan 2-3 sessions per week.

8. Do you book group lessons?

Yes. Groups of 2-6 students can be booked together in a single lesson.

9. Can you collaborate with my child's teacher?

Yes. Check with your school for its policy, and provide the email of your child's   teacher. I will adhere to any IEP or 504 instructions or other information

provided.

10. Do you offer college-level tutoring?

Yes, I tutor college students in writing for the following subjects: English, History, Political Science, and Psychology.
